Dear Resident, The Ashton Hurst Neighbourhood Team are pleased to invite you to our free bicycle marking event on Friday 10th April 2026, designed to help protect your bike and deter theft in our area.
During the session, officers will securely mark your bike using Bike Register. Please note all bikes being registered will be checked on national Bike Register database before completing the registration process. Anyone under 18 must attend with a consenting supervising adult, as personal details will need to be taken.
To ensure the best results, bikes should be cleaned or be as clean as possible before arrival. Officers will use their discretion on the day to decide whether a bike is suitable to be marked. This is a great opportunity to improve bike security and engage with your local policing team. We hope to see you there.
The marking will take place at the Broadoak & Smallshaw Community Centre, from 12:00pm till 02:00pm, Friday 10th April 2026
